Annual Meeting Snow Mountain Farms Improvement Association, Inc. Annual Meeting of Members August 14, 2004 Meeting called to order at 11:05 a.m. by President Ron Wencil. Present: President Ron Wencil, Treasurer Jim Maloney, Secretary John Leonard, Jim Corning, Laurel Cashman, Dirk Cionci, Ed Kassmel, Neal Harvey, and Ed Cole, Manager. President Ron Wencil introduced himself followed by the directors introducing themselves. Secretary John Leonard read the annual meeting notice and read the minutes of the annual meeting of July 19, 2003. The minutes were seconded and approved as read with the correction to the minutes of July 19, 2003 annual meeting by a motion from Mr. Wallace and seconded by Mr. Mackey. President Ron Wencil spoke about the improvements to the clubhouse that included: - New pool liner with a center drain. - New filter system which improved the clarity of the water. - New front door. - New entry card system - New pump for the well. - Replaced motion sensor into the pool area. Future Improvements: - Painting of the clubhouse exterior by members in the fall of 2005. - Resurface tennis courts; repair the cracks with a multi color surface. Cost four to five thousand dollars. Ron asked for comments and questions from the floor. Ralph Wallace thanked the directors for getting the tennis court up and running for the season. Question: Several members commented about the leash law because of vicious looking dogs in the area. Answer: The board of directors will send a letter to the town to enforce the leash law. Question: What is Habitat for Humanity building in Snow Mountain Farms? Answer: Ron explained that the lot was an unencumbered lot they were building on. Question: Could we get more fresh air into the pool area in the summertime because the windows are closed with screws so vandals do not enter through the windows. Answer: Rusty Gower is looking into this matter. Next order of business is the election of directors. Nominees from the nomination committee are Laurel Cashman, Paul Rothbart and Ed Kassmel. There were no nominations from the floor. Laurel, Paul and Ed were elected for a three year term. Ron Presented Neal Harvey with a plague for his work and time replacing the front door, repairing the well and reporting to the clubhouse when the alarm goes off which is late at night. Ron also had a plague for Bob Arms for all the extra time maintaining the clubhouse and grounds for the past 20 years. Motion to adjourn at 11:40 a.m. Picnic followed immediately.
